My favorite sister dyed her hair a beautiful red. Brings out her eyes. She let me snap a few pictures before she went to work tonight. Beautiful!

Vince was nice enough to let me shoot him and his motorcycle this Christmas. Here’s one of my favorites.
About a week ago I went on a work trip to Tulalip Reservation, just outside of Seattle. While I didn’t get pics of the reservation, I did get the opportunity to spend a day sightseeing with my colleague (and work spouse) Jen. We took a walk through Pike’s Place, went to the original Starbucks, and took in the beauty of Puget Sound. The first evening we were there, it was a bit foggy. But the next day, there was nothing but bright blue skies. It was hard to choose which pictures to showcase, but I think this is a good sampling.
Spent a few hours walking through Roosevelt Island to snap some shots.
Lots of kayaks and canoes out on the water today. I felt a little bit like a peeping tom snapping shots from behind the foliage.
The only carved tree on the island. Something seems to call out to lovers to immortalize their moment here.
The weather was perfect and the trees provided ample shade. It seemed miles away from the roaring highways and bridges surrounding the island. There’s even the glimpse of my red brick apartment building peeking out across the river behind the trees.
